Practical Business Planning and Funding WorkshopJoin us for an engaging session where we dive into the world of funding! If you’ve ever wondered what and who our founder, Ngahuia Crossman, aligns herself with in the funding world, this is your chance to pick her brain! In a friendly and encouraging environment, she’ll share her knowledge of funders in the business and nonprofit sectors and show you how to leverage these opportunities to grow your own brand or nonprofit.
There’s a wealth of funding out there, but the real challenge lies in knowing where to look and how to apply. While we can’t promise all the answers, we’re eager to share everything we do know to set you on the right path!
This workshop blends theory and practical work, so you’ll leave with not just ideas but actionable steps. In the first hour (11 AM – 12 PM), we’ll enjoy coffee, tea, and cake as we discuss the many funding opportunities available. Ngahuia will guide you through strategies, sharing insights and tips to help you navigate the funding world confidently.
The second half (12 PM – 2 PM) is where the real magic happens. With laptops open, you’ll receive our company’s very own 25-page business plan template, designed in Canva and tailored to funding requirements. Together, we’ll work through this comprehensive guide, step-by-step. This template will give you a clear roadmap for crafting a professional and compelling business plan.
Whether you’re building a long-term vision or tackling your immediate funding needs, this session will give you the foundation to succeed.
While some of you might power through and complete the plan during the workshop, it’s no small task—so expect to leave with homework, including long-term planning and forecasting to set your business or nonprofit up for lasting success.
