About this Event
Learn the fundamentals of starting and growing a business in Ontario. Whether a sole proprietor, partnership, or corporation, we will explain the key legal concepts all business owners should know. In this presentation, we will cover the different types of business structures, important legal rules for running a business, and tips to protect your business as it grows. The presentation will be led by Samuel Michaels, a corporate lawyer who has built his own law firm and works with hundreds of businesses across Canada.
Samuel Michaels is a Toronto-based lawyer working in corporate and employment law. Samuel runs his own law firm, SM Legal, and works with small businesses, established companies, and individuals. Samuel graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School and is a veteran of Toronto’s legal-tech and entrepreneur communities.
