Business Basics Workshop - Pool Innovation Centre, Pool

This is a workshop aimed at new business start-ups, it will cover all aspects that need to be considered when starting a new business, to include:

• Business Structures - The different choices and what they mean including a brief view of the legal aspects.
• How to register a business.
• VAT - What it is, when and how to register, and any potential impact it can have on cashflow.
• Accounting & Record Keeping - The need for digital accounting, and the benefits.
• Regulations - Legal requirements, impacts and things to consider when starting a new business.
• Insurance - The types of insurances a business will need and additional insurances to consider.
• We will provide a list of useful resources for new start-up businesses.

This is a fully interactive session where questions are welcome throughout.
