About this Event
Our communities and businesses depend on strong democratic foundations. Yet, across the country, important questions are being raised about the health of these foundations, including independent courts, a free press, and opportunities for civic participation.
Join us for an in-person, nonpartisan conversation with Boston-area business and civic leaders about how the private sector can help protect and strengthen democracy.
We’ll highlight inspiring partnerships already making a difference — including the powerful two-way connection between democracy and sustainability. A few local leaders will spark the conversation, then we’ll open it up for an interactive discussion where everyone can share ideas and perspectives.
Whether you represent small or large businesses, government, or civil society, meet others who care about these issues, and help explore how business can play a constructive role in strengthening democracy. You can expect good conversation, fresh perspectives, and the chance to connect over refreshments.
This event is co-hosted by the Boston Area Sustainability Group (BASG), Sustainable Business Network (SBN), Trillium Asset Management, and the American Sustainable Business Network (ASBN). It takes place alongside ASBN’s national virtual conference Business, Policy and Purpose (conference participants attend free!)
