DOUG FLUTIE TO PITCH FOR YOUR ROX
The Brockton Rox, in partnership with Eastern Bank—the Official Bank of the Rox—will host football hero Doug Flutie at Campanelli Stadium on Thursday, August 21st for a special appearance. Flutie will throw the ceremonial first pitch, sign autographs and officially join the Rox as a player – pitching to a live batter during the game. The game is set to start at 7pm with gates opening at 6pm. Pregame festivities with Flutie aim to start at 6:45pm.
Who is Doug Flutie?

Doug Flutie is a former professional football quarterback whose legendary career spanned 21 seasons. He played 12 seasons in the NFL (4 with the Patriots), eight in the CFL, and one in the USFL. Flutie first rose to fame at Boston College, where he won the 1984 Heisman Trophy and etched his name into football history with his unforgettable game-winning “Hail Mary” touchdown pass against the Miami Hurricanes.
