Taking place within the iconic surroundings of Bushy Park which is the perfect setting for a fast, flat and traffic-free Sunday morning 10k. If you are new to running or prefer a shorter race then the 5k is an ideal choice. You will pass around various sections of the park alongside the Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club and the Oval Plantation whilst taking in the mixture of scenic woods and lakes. You may even be lucky enough to spot one of the many roaming herds of Red or Fallow Deer that have been known to watch the start of the race on a few occasions! The course covers the tracks, trails and footpaths within the park and is suitable for runners of all abilities. Beginners are always very welcome.The Bushy 10k course is a two lap route covering the paths and trails within the boundaries of Bushy Park. The route is mostly flat and covers a selection of hard track, tarmac, and a small section on grass. The course has been measured using GPS but, because of its multi-terrain nature, it cannot carry a certificate of course accuracy.
