After watching this weekend’s weather forecast the last few days (Rain? Sleet? …likely very sloppy trails we will want to avoid post-holing), I’ve decided to recommend a scenic canal run this Saturday! Heck, you could even bring your skates and a turn it into a duathlon! There is a chance that pathway conditions will be still quite snowy and trail shoes may still be recommended… monitor weather closer to!We will meet at Happy Goat Coffee at 145 Main Street at 8:30am. We also encourage a post run coffee and snack at this excellent establishment! There is a fair bit of street parking in the neighborhood and likely lots at Immaculata High School across the street.

PS: did you know they have a walking (running) lane right ON the canal? Feel free to alter my suggestions to run on the ice!
