Join us for the Bush Talk – World Prematurity Day 2025 “Give preterm babies a strong start for a brighter future.” 💛
We’re excited to introduce Bush Talk, a new series of charity walks by Windhoek Day Hikes, where we combine gentle nature walks with meaningful talks — walking for causes that matter.
Our first Bush Talk supports mothers and their premature babies at the Windhoek Central Hospital Neonatal ICU.
All profits from this walk will go directly towards providing essential support and supplies for these little fighters and their families.
📍 Venue: Yellowstone Trails
📅 Date: Saturday, 15 November 2025
⏰ Start time: 17:00 (approximately 2 hours)
🚶♀️ Distance: ±4 km (easy and suitable for most ages)
🎟 Fees:
N$ 300 per adult
N$ 200 per child (under 16)
💕 All children born prematurely join free of charge
🎤 Guest Speaker: Dr Beatrix Callard
Dr Callard is a respected advocate for neonatal and maternal health in Namibia. She’ll share her insights about preterm babies during a relaxed talk in the bush, followed by a short Q&A as we enjoy snacks together.

Optional: it would be appreciated if you bring extra snacks to share
