About this Event
This unique experience is a collaboration between two queer First Nations professionals; Norton Fredricks and Christopher Jordan.
Norton Fredricks, known also as Retrius, is a sustainable fibre artist. He will lead a bush dying workshop. Participants will receive a silk bandana to naturally dye using Australian native botanicals and earth pigments. There will also be a chance to experiment with watercolour paper to create botanical prints.
Christopher Jordan is a chef and owner of the Brisbane-based catering company, Three Little Birds. Chris will prepare lunch and share his story as well as knowledge of the native Australian ingredients. You will taste locally grown native herbs straight from the garden.
This is a premium event with all materials provided. Please notify us of any dietary or allergy requirements before 4pm, Thursday 4 May. Due to catering, any requirements made after this date may not be considered.
