A Nonstop Rollercoaster of Laughs
An homage to 1940s screwball comedy that delivers a non-stop rollercoaster of laughs. A Newport mansion in 1948 is populated with playwrights, actors, a young starstruck writer and the housekeeper who would like them all to leave. When an unexpected incident threatens to ruin the show they are creating, everyone must act fast to save the day. Comic chaos ensues and ensnares all in its madcap wake. Sometimes, even reality needs a rewrite to find a happy ending. This smart, delightfully charming new play is “a super entertaining, laugh a minute, romantic romp.” (LA Splash)
Enjoy Light Refreshments on the Bus
Light refreshments will be provided on the bus, including water and snacks. In an effort to be money-conscious, we have decided not to have a pre-planned dinner this trip. Each traveler will receive a bag of snacks for the bus ride as well as water.
The price is $79 per person and includes your bus ride (pickup from UW-Green Bay campus), an assortment of snacks and water for the bus, as well as admission to the show at Peninsula Players. Any questions, email the LLI Office or call us at (920) 465-2356. We look forward to traveling with you!
Leaving from Green Bay
The bus will be picking up at the Green Bay campus Wood Hall Lot in late afternoon. Exact times will be sent to travelers closer to the date of the trip. We anticipate dropping off in Green Bay at approximately 11:15 p.m. There will be no refunds issued if a traveler cancels.
