Join us this fall to experience the 1933-34 Century of Progress as the Elmhurst History Museum visits five homes showcased at the world’s fair, located in the beautiful historic district of Beverly Shores, IN. Our trip will include a visit to the Depot Museum and Art Gallery, lunch at The Goblin & The Grocer, and a walking tour led by Todd Zeiger, the Director of Indiana Landmarks. The homes featured on the walking tour include the Cypress Log, Florida Tropical, Armco-Ferro, Wieboldt-Rostone, and House of Tomorrow. Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. for check in. Doors open at 8:15 a.m.
Registration is required. Price includes admission and transportation. Attendees are responsible for covering their lunch. Reminder: As this walking tour will take place primarily outside, please dress appropriately for the weather with good walking shoes.
