Held on the second Sunday of every month (except in January when the market is closed) on The Traverse in the centre of town. The farmers’ market showcases a selection of the very best local food and drink producers as well as a small number of handmade craft stalls.
Stalls include freshly baked bread and pastries, regional honey, homemade pies and savouries, freshsly baked cakes, cookies and fudge, Suffolk pork, venison and lamb, organic fruit and vegetables, vegan snacks, fresh and smoked fish and seafood, sauces and chutneys, craft ales, locally distilled gins, local eggs and lots, lots more.
We always have a small number of Street Food stalls and a selection of hand made craft stalls including locally made candles, handmade soaps and a beautiful range of top quality, locally grown, cut flowers
Everything that is sold at the market will be produced by the person who is selling and all has been produced locally.
Parking in some areas of town is free until 1pm on Sunday mornings. Dogs are very welcome at the market.
