Piquing the ears of folk fans for their rich acoustic soundscapes, Burr Island bare their soul crafting poignant lyricism that poses thought-provoking questions about life’s pressing matters.
After recording at Kundalini Studios in Devon with Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene, The Specials), their debut album garnered support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing and Radio X.
Recent live shows include opening for Robert Plant & Saving Grace, UK Tours supporting Ocean Colour Scene playing at some iconic venues, Hammersmith Eventim Apollo & Barrowlands Ballroom to name a couple. They also played to a sold out audience at Union Chapel, supporting Paul Weller as well as multiple sell out London headline shows.
