Burnside Pottery is taking part in the Australian Ceramics Open Studios weekend. Potter Luke Davidsmeier is opening his studio to the public on 8-9th of Nov 10am-4pm each day. I create soda-glazed functional stoneware and porcelain tableware for everyday use; honest pots meant to elevate your everyday rituals. This region is rich in local clays and minerals, and I incorporate these materials into my glazes and clay bodies to make work that’s rooted in place and unmistakably
Tasmanian. I’m thrilled to be taking part in the Australian Ceramics Open Studios 2025 and to be opening Burnside Pottery to the public
for the first time. I look forward to sharing the studio, the kilns, and the story behind the work with you.
