Come celebrate Burns Night with the United Scottish Clans of Oklahoma! Burns Night marks the birthday of Scotland’s most famous poet and bard, Robert “Rabbie” Burns.Burns Night will be hosted on January 25, 6 p.m. in the Oklahoma History Center, one of the most iconic venues in Oklahoma City. From heart-warming Scottish traditions to belly-warming scotch, this is an event you really don't want to miss!
Each year, we celebrate Robert Burns’ life and work with a multi-course dinner, cocktails, poetry readings, toasts, pipes and drums, highland dancing, live music performances, and of course – the option of dining on haggis, one of Scotland’s famous dishes.
In addition to the evening’s festivities, there will be raffle prizes and a silent auction to raise funds for USCO’s cultural programming, free language classes, and community scholarships throughout the year. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, any donations or winning bids will be tax deductible.
