Vancouver's premier soul dance party is back!We are pleased to announce that Burning Hearts Soul Club is back on Saturday, March 29th, in a BRAND NEW VENUE: The Kingsway Club (beside Foy's Irish Bar/The Biltmore). We are super happy to call the Kingsway Club our new home, it has a big wood dancefloor that is perfect for all the dancers that have populated BHSC in the past, as well as amazing seating booths where people can chill between getting down! It's been a long time, so start dusting off those dance shoes as this is one party you are not going to want to miss
It's been a while, but we've been plotting the whole time to find the right moment and venue to revive BHSC. Well, that time is NOW, and we could not have hoped for a better venue than The Kingsway Club. Dave and Keith have been diligently populating their playboxes with new slabs of rare soul. So don't miss this, we will have a bunch of new tunes to play we know y'all will love, and, of course, we will play all the old BHSC hits that you know and love!
Expect to hear resident DJs Keith McCafferty & Dave Mac play selections from down and dirty early 60s R&B to hard hitting 70s funk, Motown/Stax classics as well as that northern soul beat that is perfect for moving your feet across. Of course, at BHSC these tunes are always heard the way the good lord intended; off of all ORIGINAL VINYL @ 45 RPM and we GUARANTEE you will hear new and different tunes each month.
So come on down to The Kingsway Club (below the Biltmore Hotel, and besides Foy's Irish Pub) on Saturday, March 2th and dance and sing along to classic tracks you know and love and surely you will leave having danced to some new favourites as well.
