Join award-winning poet Peggy Robles-Alvarado and the powerhouse ensemble Legacy Women for an electrifying community cultural performance celebrating Robles-Alvarado’s new book, Burn Me Back (Four Way Press).
This poetic–musical event interweaves bomba and palo traditions with Robles-Alvarado’s fierce, soul-stirring verses to honor the voices, stories, and spirit of the Dominican and Puerto Rican diaspora.
Special performance by Jinae Suire.
