Please join us for the Burien Film Office Happy Hour Ep. 3 hosted by the Seattle 48 Hour Film Project, Burien Film Festival, and the City of Burien Economic Development at the Tin Room Bar & Theater on April 18 from 7 PM to 9 PM.
This month David Hogan and Angela DiMarco will present "Learn the Business, Love the Business: Finding Joy in the Actor's Journey". Are you an actor and struggling to navigate the film industry here in the greater Seattle area? David and Angela will give their perspective on how to build a career.
Mighty Tripod Acting Studio was founded in 2012 by Angela DiMarco & David S. Hogan. The name, Mighty Tripod, was inspired by our three-legged wonder dog, Vida, who persevered and thrived after losing her left rear leg to bone cancer. When we needed to find a name for our company, we didn’t have to look far. She inspired us with her courage and determination – two things which are required for the student navigating the artist’s path.
Bring your questions and business cards. There will be time before and after to Network and Chill with fellow filmmakers.
Enjoy complimentary snacks provided by the Tin Room. Drinks are not included (don't forget to tip the server/bartender).
Don't miss the chance to connect with the film community and discover the benefits and opportunities of shooting films and TV shows in Burien, King County, with the support of the State.
The Burien Film Office Happy Hour is a monthly opportunity to learn, share, and network with fellow members of your regional filmmaking community.
