About this Event
We are honored to host an intimate wine tasting class with Steve Pignatiello, founder of P. Comms Int’l and one of America’s foremost Burgundy authorities. For over two decades, Steve has immersed himself in the Côte d’Or, forging direct relationships with premier and grand cru domaines, serving as a judge at international competitions, and contributing to top wine publications. He will guide us through a curated selection of seven estate wines, from Chablis in the north through the Côte d’Or and Côte Chalonnaise.
Steve’s personal relationship with Burgundy’s top winemakers gives him access to some of the region’s very best – and most exclusive – wines. These are not the highly marketed, widely available Burgundies found throughout the U.S.; these are the special wines made by just 15 small, single-family winemakers… and many of them are not otherwise available outside of France.
But even though these wines are highly allocated, P. Comms makes them affordable because the company buys directly from the winemaker. And since most of the middlemen are eliminated, the wine buyer receives higher quality wine for less money. In short, Americans are assured of a superb value.
As Steve says, “When one of my winemakers puts his or her name on the bottle, they are putting their reputation on the line. These are proud people who want every bottle to be an excellent experience.”
$49 plus Eventbrite fee includes seven exceptional Burgundies plus charcuterie.
