Come join us for a hike at the stunning Burgess Falls on Saturday, December 7th, from 330-530ish! Hiking is a great way to connect with nature and support your overall well-being. The event is open to everyone and free, although donations to support our mission are always appreciated.
We'll be taking on the 1.5-mile round-trip River Trail/Service Road Loop, which offers a moderately strenuous hike past four breathtaking waterfalls along the Falling Water River. The trail features a 20' cascade, a 30' upper fall, an 80' middle fall, and culminates in the impressive 136' lower falls. The journey is not easy; the trail from the main overlook to the bottom of the main falls is particularly strenuous, so come prepared with tennis shoes, or hiking boots.
Google Maps will take you to the parking lot right by the trailhead (link below), and we'll be setting off at exactly 11 am, so arrive a few minutes early to ensure you're ready to go!
