We will be building beds for kids who are in need of a bed. Volunteering with SHP provides the opportunity to meet other wonderful volunteers within your community. Rubbing shoulders with complete strangers while building a bed for a child in need can turn into lifelong friendships. We will also provide event shirts to those that sign-up by 8/22 and we will have free food!To register, visit (Check your selected time slot!)

As a volunteer, you will have a chance to learn how to use woodworking tools such as saws, drills, sanders and many other pieces of equipment.
You will learn how to measure, make true wood cuts; how to sand and stain wood; and even get to see how branding a bed works!
