Come join the Curator & Collections Manager, Liz Weisblatt and say farewell to winter with a look back at fashionable winter clothing from the 1820s-1920s. Garments featured will be from the over 7,000 piece costume collection housed onsite at the William Hickling Prescott House. Built in 1809 the William Hickling Prescott House was saved in 1944 by the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and has been their headquarters ever since, the garments in the collection were worn by ancestors of the society.
Collection highlights will include coats, jackets, hats and more!
