About this Event

Changes to the NCC 2025 from 1 May 2025
Ensure you're prepared for the new requirements for building and construction.

Starting May 1, 2025, the National Construction Code (NCC 2025) will introduce new requirements for building and construction. Find out how these changes will impact you at our Bundaberg Industry Info Session on Thursday, 20 February.
You'll hear from our in-house Senior Technical Advisor, Travis Woods, on how these changes will affect your work and what your obligations are.
Don’t get caught off guard. Join us for an informative session to learn about:

  • Future electrification & electric vehicle charging: Understand the new requirements for more circuit breakers and EV charging installations
  • Condensation mitigation: Ensure mould growth is restricted, and buildings remain durable
  • Roof space ventilation: Learn how to ensure proper airflow and reduce condensation in roof spaces
  • Fire separation of roofed outdoor areas: Learn how to apply the new code for fire separation of roofed outdoor areas to adjoining properties and structures
  • Water proofing external areas: Understand the changes for substrates and waterproofing that will affect commercial applications.

You'll also hear from QLeave, about portable long service leave for workers in Queensland's building and construction industry. They'll provide a detailed overview of how the scheme works, including its funding mechanisms, eligibility criteria, and the specific obligations for employers.
