Help your child gain the tools to stand strong with confidence and kindness! This high-energy, interactive seminar teaches children how to handle bullying situations with self-control, respect, and confidence. Kids will practice boundary-setting, situational awareness, and beginner-friendly self-defense techniques in a fun, supportive environment.
Participants will engage in:
- Role-playing scenarios
- Assertiveness training
- Confidence-building exercises
- Beginner-friendly karate moves focused on safety and self- protection
- No prior martial arts experience is needed. Comfortable clothing and readiness to move are encouraged!
About the Presenter:
Sensei Wendy Cohen, founder of MidSouth Okinawan Karate, brings over 35 years of experience in Okinawan Karate. She is a 5th Degree Blackbelt and Certified Senior Instructor in the Seibukai System of Goju Ryu Karate, as well as a 3rd Degree Blackbelt in the Ryukonkai Weapons System. Sensei Wendy specializes in practical self-defense, helping students discover their inner strength while learning in a welcoming, supportive environment.
