Back at it again. The weather set us back last time but not for long. Sunday, May 26th at noon we'll be back in the field with the targeting games and the new targeting stand! I'm very excited to see everyone try out the new target stand I made just for the long targeting competition. As always its free for everyone to come and participate. Invite your friends, grab a whip, and meet us at Buena Vista Park!We're going to start with a 10 minute group warm up then go right into the games. If you show up late that's fine, you'll be able to jump in on the next game. Be sure to check out the rules below if you plan on attending.
Battlefield
Contestants take turns cutting down an ever growing gauntlet of targets. If you can't cut all of your targets within the time limit, you lose!
Long Targeting
Rack up points by hitting targets at a variety of ranges! Try the 6ft, 10ft, or 20ft bracket
Speed and Accuracy
Cut the most targets in the shortest time!
General Rules:
Whips can be dangerous. Don't do anything at this event you're not comfortable doing. Be aware of the space around you. Safety is always priority one.
This is an event in a public place, please be mindful of the space being used and the other people using it.
Be respectful of the other people at the event. Everyone is welcome, all skill levels are welcome. We want a safe and fun environment for everyone who participates.
Be respectful of the equipment provided for the games as well as the whips owned by myself or others.
These games are meant to be fun and an expression of personal skill. While some of these games will have winners and losers, the only prize is having fun and progressing your skills with a whip. If you didn't win the day, respect the call of whoever is judging the game and welcome the opportunity to improve for next time.
