About this Event
As part of the 'Orchard for Pollinators' Project we are running a programme of Orchard maintenance workshops and volunteer days across Bristol, Bath and South Glou. With the aim of recruiting and training up volunteers to have the skills to care for their local communtiy orchards.
Join us in the community orchard for a day of spring bulb planting and orchard care. Tasks will include:
- Planting native spring bulbs around the base of the fruit trees
- Carrying tree guard repairs/maintnance
- Replacing/adjusting tree ties
- weeding and mulching
All Health and Safety provison will be covered in safety briefing at the start of the session.
No skills or expertise required, all training, tools and PPE are provided. Please bring sturdy footwear and clothes you don't mind getting muddy, a packed lunch and plenty of water.
Activities not suitble for under 16's
Hot drinks provided but please bring lunch

There is no car park at the park but on street parking is avaliable close oon Teyfants Road
Unfortunately there are no toilet facilities on site
