Bulb for Pollinators

Our bulbs for pollinators course is a 2-hour session.

This one-off course covers;

• how we can help increase food production as a community by making sure we provide enough food for our pollinators and help create pollination lines or stop stations.
• The course teaches a method of bulb planting called lasagne planting which uses less soil by combining a range of spring flowering bulbs in one pot which flower at early, mid and late spring.
• It talks about how if there is not enough food early on for pollinators then it impacts how successful pollinators can be for food production
• how without enough food for pollinators reproduction rates are declining in the UK. We need pollinators to be able to successfully grow food.
