About this Event
The schools of the Bujinkan incorporate various components of fighting in a traditional Japanese system. In this way – the training is not limited to a certain type of skill and incorporates strikes, kicks, throws, chokes, locks and holds, as well as numerous weapons such as sword, short and long staff, chain and sickle, throwing weapons, knife and rope.
At his class, Joel’s focus is on the basic movements of the Bujinkan with an emphasis on using efficient body movement and maintaining structure. Joel now travels to Japan regularly to learn from the Japanese masters as well as attending classes with other instructors and attending seminars from travelling instructors. He openly recommends that students attend seminars to get different perspectives.
