About the SpeakersMike James Ross is the former CHRO of Simons and a partner at Juniper. As a McKinsey consultant, Mike focused on leadership and cultural transformation, he also has extensive experience in law, private equity, peace negotiations, and venture capital. His book “Intention: the Surprising Psychology of HIgh Performers”, focuses on leadership and organizational transformation, equipping leaders with actionable insights for thriving and leading in an increasingly complex world.
Laure Goubau is a certified executive coach, talent management consultant, and expert facilitator on leadership development. She is the founder of Gloria, a national coaching service at the intersection of leadership and women’s health. Previously, Laure advised and coached seasoned and emerging leaders at McCarthy Tétrault and McKinsey. She ran strategic initiatives on retention, performance, recruitment, women’s advancement, mental health, and EDI. With over a decade of experience working with high performers—and as a former Big Law litigator—she deeply understands the challenges of ambition, career progression, values alignment, well-being, and imposter thoughts.
