The event will start with a panel discussion featuring the Grammy-winning/nominated producers/engineers Liz Robson (Selena Gomez, Kali Uchis, Paramore), Eva Reistad (Hans Zimmer, Miley Cyrus, Dune), Gabi Lima (Ben Folds, Tanya Donelly), who will be discussing strategies to enter and build upon a career in the audio industry.
The panel will be moderated by producer/engineer Ainjel Emme (Charli XCX, Yeah Yeah Yeahs)
This will include Liz's insights as a staff engineer at Interscope Records, Eva's insights working on huge film scores with Hans Zimmer, and Gabi's work across genres as a multi-instrumentalist/producer and in live sound.

About the Panelists
Liz Robson (Selena Gomez, Kali Uchis, Paramore, Isaiah Rashad) is a highly sought-after audio engineer who has made a significant impact in the music industry through her work with top-tier artists. Known for her exceptional skills and ability to create a comfortable environment for artists, Liz has played a crucial role in recording some of the biggest hits, including DaBaby’s “ROCKSTAR” and GloRilla’s “Blessed”.
Her career highlights include cutting her teeth as a runner at the renowned Interscope Studios, working with ScHoolboy Q early on as an assistant, and collaborating with the Dreamville team as an Engineer on Grammy-nominated “ROTD III.”

Eva Reistad (Hans Zimmer, Miley Cirus, Dune) is an accomplished audio engineer/producer whose experience includes mixing film scores, Atmos soundtracks, and various records. Her skills have gained her recognition across the record and film industry, in which she has participated in numerous award-winning projects. Most recently, mixing the 2023 Grammy-Award-winning classical record “An Adoption Story” by artist Kitt Wakeley. Her long-time immersion in the music industry has taken her around the world- traveling to Dubai to mix for AR Rahman and record orchestra for Beyonce, and running playback on tour for Hans Zimmer Live. Some of her previous mixing works are- “Cinderella” by Jessica Rose Weiss, “Planet Earth 3“ by Hans Zimmer, Sarah Barone, Jacob Shea, Dune- “The Sketchbook Album” by Hans Zimmer, “Why? The Musical” by A.R. Rahman, and “The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry” by Jeff and Starr Parodi.

Gabi Lima (Ben Folds, Tanya Donelly) is an LA-based Brazilian musician, songwriter, producer, and audio engineer with over 2 decades of combined experience in songwriting, performing, producing, recording, editing, mixing, mastering, live sound, podcasts, and radio.
As an artist, Gabi Lima is also known for producing and engineering her own songs, on which she plays all the instruments, and has released 2 full albums under the pseudonym Gru: Kitchen Door (2009) and Welcome Sucker to Candyland (2013), as well as the single “Tinnitus” (2015), directly influenced by her experience as an audio engineer, and more recently her collaboration with East Coast alt rock legend Tanya Donelly, “Golden Cut”.
Gabi has written and sold countless original songs for advertising, worked in radio, contributed with other artists as a producer, songwriter, musician and engineer, and currently works as a recording, mixing and live sound engineer in LA, where she also plays live shows.

She is a passionate advocate for women and gender non-conforming people in music and the recording arts.
