Looking for some interactive learning opportunities for your kids? Join us at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre for our Building with Bits solar power circuitry workshops.
These 60-minute workshops will introduce kids to STEAM and circuitry with easy-to-use magnetic building block bits that snap together to make learning about electronics fun and engaging.
Come and tinker with inventions that demonstrate how we can use energy from the Sun to power technology! Attendees will build an energy meter, satellite dish, cooling fan and more!
Workshops recommended for ages 7-15.
Cost per attendee: $6.50 + taxes and fees.
General admission to Space Centre shows sold separately.
Please arrive early to allow time for check-in.
REGISTRATION
Select from one of three workshop times (A, B or C).
Children must be accompanied by an adult to attend. One ticket must be purchased for each member of your party.
Workshop A: 10:30am – 11:30am
Workshop B: 12:30pm – 1:30pm
Workshop C: 2:30pm – 3:30pm
**REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 4:00pm on Friday, April 19th. Registration must be done in advance and will not be available on April 21st.**
PARKING
Ample paid parking is available in front of the Space Centre building (Parking Lot #60 on the ZipBy app).
Please note the parking lot and its prices and services are managed by Easy Park.
