What does resilience mean to you? Who in your life models resilience in a way that you admire? What can we learn from them?It’s a fact, life is unpredictable. Life is full of change and no matter how much we try to prepare, change will sometimes happen when we aren’t ready for it. But we all have the power to build inner strength and learn to trust our capability to manage the unknown. Building resiliency enables us to stay grounded, learn to face uncertainty with courage, and to live life unafraid of the “what ifs”.
Join us on February 21 at 6:00 PM for a 90-minute reflective learning gathering. Our topic this week will be: “Building Personal Resilience
This session is designed as a thoughtful space to explore:
• What resiliency is and its core features
• How resilience can look different for different people
• How to approach improving your own resilience
You’ll have opportunities to reflect, share, and listen to the experiences of others in a supportive, respectful environment. There’s no pressure to have answers (none of us really do). Just bring yourself and your curiosity.
By the end of the session, we hope you will have new ideas on self-care, strengthening your relationships, and expressing appreciation to those you love.
