About this Event
In a world designed with systems to stifle imagination and a status quo that consolidates power and resources– dreaming is an act of defiance. The Building New Worlds exhibit is an invocation of that resistance to hold the line and dream of new possibilities—a testament to girls and young feminists’ power, not just as survival, but as the audacious practice of building life affirming and just worlds.
Together, we can visualize and manifest futures rooted in liberation, regeneration, care and interdependence. This exhibit brings together the voices, visions, and lived experiences of all girls and young feminists who refuse to be erased. Girls of the past, present, and future. A living archival library that declares unequivocally: to be a girl is to be powerful.
