About this Event

In this training, you will learn what asset-based community development is, how to see the strengths already in your neighborhood, and how land and housing fit into generational wealth. We will break down basic land and housing terms in clear language (owner vs. renter, deed, mortgage, equity, property value). Together we will start a simple Family & Neighborhood Asset Map that includes homes, rentals, churches, businesses, and vacant lots. This session is designed for renters, homeowners, and people who are just getting started.
