Location: 353 E Adams Ave

Description: Join us for an afternoon of talks and demonstrations to help encourage you to build and strengthen community with gardening.

1:00 PM Kasey Meek will be sharing knowledge about getting started with composting and ways to collaborate with neighbors.

2:00 PM Sean Washington will lead us around the grounds (weather permitting) to talk about wildlife communities in and around our gardens.

3:00 PM Marcus Long will be teaching about the benefits of native plants and their effects on communities below the surface.

4:00 PM Katie Huskerson will wrap up the afternoon with a hands-on demonstration on how to mitigate green waste and build a dead hedge that can help support wildlife in your home habitat.
