Are you a student studying in grades 6-10 looking to enhance your skills and personal development? BBLTJ is here for you!𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐁𝐋𝐓𝐉?
The concept of the BBLT program was adapted for a younger audience in the form of BBLTJ. High school students from classes six to ten attend this month-long leadership program. BBLTJ is divided into two parts; four weeks of in-class leadership training and one week of community work. These programs seek to build sustainable connections among youth from different educational backgrounds (i.e., English medium, Bengali medium, and madrassa backgrounds). They confront their prejudices and challenge stereotypes by learning and working together to develop a diverse, inclusive, and powerful network of youth leaders.

• The students undergo intensive in-class leadership theory and skills. Through this training, the students develop their leadership skills. They analyze obstacles using diagnostic tools and find strategies to inspire others to take action.
• The students learn about team dynamics through the four-player model and the importance of each player in each situation. To experience team dynamics, they participate in a team-building activity to learn how to work and achieve as a team.
• The students learn about emotional intelligence and its importance. It improves their understanding of how to control their emotions. Students can apply concepts of leadership using emotional intelligence.
• The program also included a case consultation component where students bring their leadership failure stories to the classroom and workers on diagnosing them in their small groups.
• The students sharpen their public speaking skills by delivering a two-minute presentation in front of the entire class. Through large-class discussions and small-group peer consultations, students learned how to diagnose issues and create interventions that challenged their critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
• A complete workbook for harnessing the learnings on our session topics accordingly.
