About this Event
Building Bridges is a community event highlighting how specialized agencies across Strathcona County collaborate to support survivors of sexual and family violence, especially when they are considering accessing assistance from the police. This event is ideal for all community members, including survivors and support persons of individuals impacted by family violence, parents and caregivers, professionals, and post-secondary students wanting to learn more about the resources in their community. Join us to hear from specialized professionals directly about their partnerships and what options are available to survivors and their families in Strathcona County.
All are welcome to this event; however, due to the sensitive nature of the topic, we recommend that all participants be 16 years of age or have a guardian attend the event with them.
We prioritize the well-being of our guests; if support is needed during or following the event, Saffron staff will be on-site to provide support and resources.
Please register for the event before the start time so we can ensure ample space and seating for all guests.
Please join us for an evening of learning and community empowerment as we embark on building bridges of support for survivors of sexual violence.
