About this Event
On April 13, the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB), in partnership with the Church Of God In Christ (COGIC) and other organizations, will host National Building Black Wealth Day—a nationwide initiative to empower communities with pathways to homeownership, property investment, entrepreneurship, and generational wealth.
Taking place in 100+ cities as part of COGIC’s 100-City Community Impact Day, the event will feature seminars / sessions and one-on-one counseling ensuring access for all. Attendees will gain insights into homebuying, real estate investing, down payment assistance, and careers in real estate.
Why it matters: The racial wealth gap remains staggering—Black homeownership sits nearly 30% lower than White households, limiting wealth-building opportunities. NAREB’s Building Black Wealth Tour aims to change this by equipping families with the tools to achieve financial security.
