Dips don’t have to be scary, painful, or reserved for the bendiest people in the room.
Dips are a favorite flavor in fusion—and also one of the easiest places for things to feel rushed, heavy, or unclear.
This class focuses on making dips feel intentional, communicative, and adaptable across across different fusion styles, partner dynamics, and bodies.
In this workshop, we’ll break dips down into clear, teachable components—so they feel stable, intentional, and surprisingly accessible.
This class focuses on scaffolded dip variations, starting with upright and low-risk options and gradually expanding into deeper or more expressive shapes if and when they feel right. You’ll learn how to use weight-sharing, timing, alignment, and communication to create dips that feel supportive rather than stressful—for both partners.
We’ll explore:
• How to initiate and receive a dip without yanking, collapsing, or guessing
• Multiple dip styles, from subtle to dramatic
• Clear entry and exit pathways (because getting out matters)
• Options that are knee-, ankle-, hip-, and back-friendly
• How to adapt dips for different heights, strengths, and comfort levels
This class is appropriate for all levels and all ages. No extreme flexibility, athleticism, or previous dip experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to move thoughtfully. Whether you’ve avoided dips entirely or want to make the ones you already do feel smoother and safer, you’ll leave with tools you can actually use on the social floor.
We prioritize consent, choice, and nervous-system-friendly learning throughout the class.
