Building Anti-Racist Coalitions

The Anti Racist Collective are meeting regularly for almost a year now to try to understand and to respond to Racism in all its forms in Ireland.

The collective is emerging from various parts of civil society. We have held a number of workshops and conversations on this topic and are continuing this work with a national social movement event which will take place in the F2 in Rialto Dublin 8 on Saturday November 16th 2024 from 9.30 unit 4.00pm.

We are bringing together a broad and extensive range of groups and organisations, who are working at the grassroots on this issue. Those who understand and have developed specific responses to Racism in Ireland, in various ways over many years and those who want to take part in the struggle against racism. All who want to become part of a broad anti racist movement in Ireland are welcome.

The purpose of the day is to learn from these various forms of struggle that are taking place. To explore the possibilities and strategies for Building Anti Racist Coalitions in Ireland. Building coalitions that are powerful and effective as well as deep and profound over time.
