Meet The Speakers

Natalie Ojevah MBE - Eagle Labs Diversity & Inclusion Lead, Business Banking

Natalie leads the banks’ first external programme dedicated to black-led businesses; now having completed its third year, which sees founders go through a 12-week programme with expert-led business strategy masterclasses, which culminates in a demo day showcase to celebrate at the end of the programme.

She joined Barclays in 2012, starting as a cashier foundation apprentice in her local branch in Woolwich, before acquiring her Business Management & Leadership degree, sponsored by Barclays through the scheme. After the programme she moved to business banking as a start up manager and naturally progressed to become a ‘BBM4’ relationship manager in Croydon. 18 months later she joined the Eagle Labs team as an Ecosystem Manager.

She is a recipient of the Queen's New Years Honours List 2022 –MBE for services to Business Development and Diversity & Inclusion, Barclays Citizenship & Diversity Awards 2021, Fintech Futures Power List 2020 and more.

Outside of work, Natalie co-hosts a podcast called ‘The Hustle Table’, where she brings all the nuggets that she has learnt over her career to the listener. Their motto is ‘Instead of seeking a seat at the table, why not create the table’.



Oyindamola Lawal - Head of Partnerships, Business Banking

Oyindamola graduated from the University of Southampton in 2010 and started career with Barclays in 2011 as a Personal Banker at the Winchester Branch. He joined the Business Bank in 2012 as a Relationship Support Manager and a few years later moved to the Central Business Management team Corporate Bank, as Risk and Process Improvement manager responsible for the roll out the See it, Own it, Fix it initiative during this time.

Oyindamila eventually returned to the Business Bank in 2016 as part of the Performance & Transformation team as a National Business Manager, before he transitioned to the Product team as a Lending Product Manager working on the implementation of the Competition Markets Authority (CMA) remedies programme; to open up credit facilities to non-customers.

He joined the Business Banking Propositions team in 2019, and progressed to heading up the External Partnerships team managing the business relationship with our portfolio of 3rd party partners.
