Dr. Walter E. Voit is a pioneering researcher and entrepreneur whose work spans shape-memory polymers, flexible bioelectronics, neural interfaces, and advanced manufacturing. He has founded and led several technology ventures, including IvyBee, Inc., Adaptive3D (acquired by Desktop Metal), Qualia Inc., BackStop Neural, and Regulife Medical.

A DARPA Young Faculty Awardee and Director’s Fellow, Dr. Voit has authored over 150 scientific publications and holds multiple patents. His ventures have attracted investment from leading global companies, translating research into cutting-edge products and applications. Dr. Voit is passionate about mentoring emerging innovators and advancing the culture of entrepreneurship in North Texas and beyond.
