Back by popular demand! Join us for a super fun workshop where you will learn how to build your very own magical faerie house out of everyday items. Taught by our guest artist, Diane Johnson-Kithcart, this 2-part class takes place on BOTH January 20 and January 27(Please see supply list below).Location: Locker61, 19910 Viking Ave NW, Poulsbo, WA
Date/Time: Tues, Jan 20 5:30-8pm AND Tues, Jan 27 5:30-7:30pm (you must be able to attend both dates)
January 20 (Class 1):
You will learn and apply these techniques in class as much as time allows. You will be sent home with your project. You will be able to finish anything not completed and to let dry before the next class.
January 27 (Class 2):
This is all about painting and decorating! I will show you ideas on how you can bring your house to life!
Class 1 Supply List:
You need to bring:
1 plastic bottle or milk carton
1 roll of good quality Aluminum Foil
Masking tape- Contractors Grade (beige one) 2” wide
1 roll of very cheap paper towels- 1 ply if possible
2 LG bottles of white ALL Purpose school glue
Scissors
Exacto knife (optional)
A medium size box to carry your materials and project home
Class 2 Supply list:
You need to bring:
Items to decorate your house. ex: twigs, pods, moss, shells
Stir sticks, dried flowers, pebbles, cones- USE YOUR IMAGINATION!
Egg carton- used to make fake stones- optional
Glue gun with glue- if you have one.
I will supply paint. If you have a particular color you want you will need to bring it.
Acrylic craft paint is perfect. Only a couple dollars at Walmart.
Please note, there is a minimum of 4 participants for this workshop. If you have signed up, and we do not have enough participants by Tuesday, Nov 4, we will notify you of the cancellation by email, and refund your class fee.
