Join a free 45-minute class led by a Tarrant County Master Gardener to build a bee house that supports native pollinators in your North Texas yard. One bee house per registered household; space is limited, so register today at hursttx.gov/hplsignup.
Wildlife – including bees – need places to hide, escape, and rest, but habitat loss has reduced their natural options. Help them out by creating a house for your own backyard. Make your own bee house during the class to bring home and feature in your North Texas yard! These houses will primarily support native solitary-dwelling bees but may also support other pollinators like butterflies, moths, beetles, and more.
This class is brought to you by the Hurst Public Library and the Tarrant Regional Water District.
