COST: $20** REGISTRATION REQUIRED TO ATTEND **
The 7th class of FurBabies & Friends beginner dog group obedience is always everyone’s favorite as this class allows participants to practice and build on their dog's obedience skills through participation in dog rally. Dog Rally is an obedience obstacle course with various tasks to perform with your dog as your advance through the course. The course is fun and updated as traditional dog rally can be a bit boring and repetitive.
Additionally, there is a multitude of agility equipment like teeter-totters, jumps, tunnels, dog walks etc. along with other tactile and sensory obstacles like the Fan Palm Waterfall or the pool filled with balls for a little sniffari. These equipment pieces and obstacles help build better dog and handler communication skills, improve a dog's confidence, increase the amount of socialization and experiences in a dog's life, and even find talents you did not even know your dog had!
The objective of this event is to expose dogs and their humans to a wide variety of dog related fun they can have together. When training your dog, you should always be having fun and in the right state of mind for the best possible outcome. Prior class attendees took away new, different, and fun ideas to bring into their at home training.
Lastly, the positive reinforcement-based trainer, Kristie, will be in attendance to answer questions, assist with training issues, provide tips, or help get your furbaby through that tunnel!
This event will in Arrowhead Ranch, off 67th Ave and the 101 off Arrowhead loop. See event info for exact address.
Anyone is welcome to attend provided the following requirements are met and sent prior to the event:
REGISTRATION BEFOREHAND INCLUDES:
1. Signed release of liability
2. Vaccination records including rabies, distemper/parvo, and Bordetella
3. Ensure your dog is not overly aggressive or reactive around other dogs or humans
4. All dogs must be on leash the entire session
