About the Speaker
Hojeong Kim, PhD, CPC, ACC is a leadership coach who helps high-achieving women step into careers that excite them, feel truly their own, and come with a clear plan. She knows what it’s like to face uncertainty and reinvention, having navigated her own bold career shifts: from academia to tech during the 2009 financial crisis, and later from a thriving leadership role to launching her own business.
Her passion for coaching comes from seeing too many talented women feel stuck or unseen in roles that don’t fully reflect their strengths. Today, she helps them break free from those limits, define what they really want, and go after it with confidence. It’s work she finds deeply fulfilling.
Hojeong is the founder of Kim Coaching Group and holds an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is a Certified Imposter Syndrome Coach Practitioner and is also trained in Women-Centered Coaching and Positive Intelligence.
Before becoming a coach, Hojeong earned her Ph.D. in Physics from UT Austin and conducted postdoctoral research at McGill University and the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. She then served in leadership roles in data science at tech companies like LinkedIn and Twilio. When she’s not coaching, you’ll find her enjoying a fun run, hiking local trails, walking her dog, and attempting to keep her garden alive with more enthusiasm than skill.
