BUILD THE BUZZ: 8-Week Competitive Cheer & Dance Training

Ready to introduce your athlete to the exciting world of cheer? Build the Buzz is a fun, energetic, and beginner-friendly cheer program designed to build confidence, skills, and teamwork—all while having a blast!

This 8-week performance cheer experience is perfect for athletes who want to try cheer for the first time or prepare for future competitive cheer opportunities. No prior cheer experience required.

Session Dates: February 16, 2026 - April 11, 2026

Ages: 7–17
Practices: Mondays and Tuesdays 6:30p - 8:30p
Cost: $250 total

Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of cheer, including:

• Cheer motions & sharp technique
• Jumps
• Basic stunts
• Intro tumbling
• Cheer & dance routine

Athletes will work together as a team while developing strength, coordination, confidence, and school spirit.

• Practices held 2 times per week
  (Mondays at Clemente Rec Center and Tuesdays at Coleman Young Rec Center)
• Athletes will perform in 1 competition and showcase at the end of the 8-week session
• Focus on teamwork, performance skills, and fun in a supportive environment

• Beginner-friendly & confidence-building
• Structured but fun introduction to cheer
• Encourages teamwork, discipline, and leadership
• Great stepping stone into competitive cheer

• Space is limited to maintain quality instruction
• Uniform and additional details will be shared after registration
• This program is designed to be welcoming, energetic, and age-appropriate
