About this Event
In 2 Kings 4:8-10, a distinguished woman in Shunem felt a need to create a chamber for the prophet Elisha, a place where he could stay and rest when he traveled through their city. She understood that a familial relationship with the prophet would somehow allow a closeness to God that non-priestly persons were unable to attain.
It is our desire to create such a room for Jesus Christ in our hearts. We desire for the Holy Spirit to have a place within us where it can grow and expand our spiritual understanding in multiple ways, including both service in His Kingdom and our place as His children.
Some might ask – why a prayer seminar; what do you do? No, it’s not a conference. No, there’s not a worship team. Rather, there is deep, in-depth Biblical teaching that provides spiritual concepts relating to one’s relationship with God. Every session seeks to broaden one’s spiritual understanding which, in turn, can enable change and growth. Every session is packed full of information and then, immediately followed with the ability to “practice” what is learned.
