Join us for this month's presentation by Amanda Pennington, former entomologist with the Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium! Though her career is now in forensics, she is still a bug enthusiast who loves educating others on the wonders of these special creatures. She's going to do a crash course on "bug basics" and what makes a bug, well, a bug!! She'll get into how they are classified and she'll introduce you to some of her favorites from each group that live here in Southeast Louisiana. Her goal is for everyone to walk away with more buggy knowledge and respect for these wonderful critters.
