About the Event
Start your morning with coffee, connection, and community at Buenos Días, Las Vegas! This monthly networking series by the Nevada Hispanic Business Group (NVHBG) brings together business owners, professionals, and community leaders to share ideas, collaborate, and grow.
This month, we’re excited to meet at Cristo Rey St. Viator College Preparatory, a school making a real difference in shaping the future workforce through their Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP).
About Cristo Rey’s Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP)
Cristo Rey St. Viator’s CWSP is a unique initiative where students work in professional office settings one day a week, earning money for their education while gaining valuable real-world experience.
Each team of four students functions as a full-time entry-level employee, providing essential clerical and administrative support to corporate partners. Through this hands-on experience, students:
- Develop professional and communication skills
- Apply classroom lessons to real-life business situations
- Gain confidence and preparation for college and future careers
This partnership between education and the business community demonstrates how collaboration creates opportunity and impact for both students and employers.
